3D sandwich woven fabric is woven out by 100% E-glass fiber, and consists of two deck layers formed by warp and weft direction fibers and Z direction fibers which interconnect both deck layers. The double deck layers is similar 04 checked fiberglass cloth. The height between two deck lays(Z direction) can be designed from 3mm to 30mm in order to meet different needs, and the fabric`s construction can be designed as 8-shape and V-shape and U-shape and V-shape.
The fabric is suitable for kinds of Unsaturated polyester resin and Phenolic resin and Epoxy resin and Vinyl Ester Resins. When 3D sandwich is impregnated with a thermoset resin, the fabric absorbs the resin and rises to the preset height. It has advantages, such as saving workers, time, and material, cost-effective.
